Experienced and upwardly mobile Automotive Technician needed to join our
growing business at Delaware Automotive Service, where success and investing in the
future extends to everyone on the team.

As an experienced Automotive Technician, you will quickly and efficiently diagnose and
repair various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and
air conditioning in accordance with known and provided shop and factory standards.

Essential Functions

• Properly identify the cause of breakdowns and repair them using the best solutions
• Perform work efficiently and effectively
• Communicate mechanical issues with Service Manager
• Perform used car inspections to identify what repairs need to be made
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Other projects and responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate in Automotive Service Technician or equivalent
• Must be team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining the highest possible level of
customer service
• Must be accustomed to working in a family-friendly environment
• Able to demonstrate professional behaviors consistent with DAS values in all interactions
• Previous domestic, foreign, and European automotive technical experience preferred
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system,
diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, scan tools, etc
